Knotted Kufic, one of the first decorative manifestations of Kufic, has various knots as its principal components. In previous studies, decorative Kufic, specifically knotted one, has always been regarded as a combination of plain Kufic with decorative motifs; but it seems that knotted Kufic is a unified whole resulted from the changes in geometric relations of alphabet letters and their compositions. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to find out the context of changes of knotted Kufic alongside the study of geometric relations of its alphabet letters and their compositions to recognize the thoughts in their formation based on the formal development of knotted Kufic. To this purpose, historical, descriptive and analytic methods and hermeneutic approach are used to describe and analyze the geometric development of knotted Kufic based on the mystical connotations of knot. As a result the relationship between development process of knotted Kufic and mystical viewpoints is revealed indicating that mystical geometry of space and time has affected the design of knotted Kufic inscriptions and is manifested in forms of loop knots, heart-shaped knot and endless knot. This mystical geometry is utilized in the design of knotted Kufic’s compositions as well to induce the concept of entanglement and disentanglement respectively.

The writer makes the following claims, which he tries to prove using argumentation: 1. There is no difference between transcendent theosophy and Peripateticist philosophy where the need to endless regress is concerned. 2. Comparison proof is wrong in the refutation of endless regress. 3. The refutation of endless regress has no need to conditions.

Terrorism is the illegal use of power and violence against individuals or society to intimidate or force governments. The occurrence of such incidents is not far from expected, as these incidents have been increasing in recent decades in Iran. On Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 19:30, a terrorist attack was carried out by two terrorists in Shahcheragh shrine (one of the holy and religious places in Shiraz city) in Iran. The main terrorist entered the courtyard from one of the main doors and started shooting with a gun. During this incident, 2 people were killed and 7 people were injured. A few minutes later, the armed person was arrested by the police and the second person ran away. The terrorist group of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) took responsibility for this terrorist attack by declaring a statement. This review was written with the aim of investigating why lessons were not learned from previous incidents, especially the Shahcheragh terrorist incident that happened in 2022, and this incident was repeated again.

Root knot nematodes are among the most important groups of plant pests and is a major cause of crop loss. In this research, the control of nematode of tomato in greenhouse was conducted using tobacco dust as a bio-nematicide. I.M.P. diagnostic keys and some other common references were used to accurately identify species and the race of nematode. Experiments were carried out using complete randomized block design with 5 replication and 7 treatments at different rates of 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 gr/kg. Soil shoot lengths, root fresh weights and root gall index were measured in all treatments. Results showed that 20gr. tobacco dust per kg soil was the best. The experiments were conducted over a two year period. The results showed that about 100gr per plant was the most effective treatment and the striped application at transplanting time proved to be recommendable.

Despite the introduction of novel sutureless posterior chamber intraocular lens (IOL) fixation techniques, some conditions still require suture-assisted scleral fixation. If the scleral fixation suture knot is left directly under the conjunctiva, it may become exposed, resulting in an increased risk of endophthalmitis. To avoid this problem, we offer a new alternative, simple, and safe way for burying the end of the suture using knots in this report.

Scientists and researchers are always trying to optimize and develop a variety of transportation modes, including air transportation, by using their creative ideas. In this regard, the design of airports with circular runways (i.e., Endless Runways) has recently received much attention. In these kinds of airports, there is no need to consider the headwind and cross-wind competence in order to locate the airport site. By using circular runways, the capacity and management of air transport could be significantly enhanced. Furthermore, the need for land to build the airport will be considerably reduced. In addition, the possibility of flight and operation for several large aircraft at a specific time interval can provide different advantages at peak traffic demand and critical conditions.
